We are all artists,
We know how to paint our smile
Hide our scars and frown behind,
As that’s what we’ve been doing all the while.
We’re proud of our skills,
We can make people fall in our tricks,
But still we fail to recognise
Who’s smile is real and who’s faking his.
We put a mask over our feelings,
So our true feelings are never shown,
And we expect the world to know us,
When we fail to know our own.
If you think you know a person well,
You only know their qualities few,
As you can fall in the trap,
If they are artists too.
