Popular Ghanaian hip-hop artiste, Kwesi Arthur has put Ghana on the number one spot as the country with the best hiphop artistes in Africa.
He made this claim while speaking on Instagram live with Lanre Shonubi of the famous HotFM in Lagos, Nigeria. Without giving a specific date, the “Nobody” hitmaker hinted that he has been recording everyday to complete his new album which he hopes to release soon.
According to him, the album will be one of his best albums due to the time, dedication and effort he has put in. He confirmed that the album will feature both international and local artistes for good listening pleasure.
When asked of his top emcees in Africa, he listed Manifest, Sarkodie, M.I, Vector, Nasty C, AKA, Kaligraph Jones, Dremo, King Kaka and Blaqbonez as the the top rappers in Africa but Ghanaian rappers rule over all of them.
He added that working with Mr. Eazi is great and revealed that he has more unreleased songs with him which will be released before the year ends. When asked if he would like to work with Joeboy and Rema, he replied that he hopes to work with them soon.
