Ghana has confirmed her 7th Coronavirus case as another victim has tested positive.

According to a publication on the Ghana Health Service website, the victim is a 35-year-old Ghanaian who returned from France a fortnight ago. He tested positive to COVID 19 in the Greater Accra Region.

“The case-patient is a 35-year-old male, a Ghanaian citizen, who returned to Accra from France within the past 14 days,” a statement on the website reads.

The new case, just like the previous ones is an imported case and the victim is in stable condition as he’s being managed in isolation.

Ghana confirmed 4 more cases some 2 days ago after the initial 2 cases.

On contacts tracing, the report states that the victim had close contacts with 350 people who have since been traced and are being worked on at the Noguchi Memorial Institute.
