Ghanaians Fight Over Free Food From Government

President Akufo Addo announced an initial two weeks partial lockdown of Accra and Kumasi in an effort to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

In his latest address, he has extended the partial lockdown by another week.

However, the government during the partial lockdown decided to take care of the less privileged by providing them with food items every day.

In a video sighted by ericvoices.com, Ghanaians in a community are seen fighting over the food provided by the government through Assembly Man.

From children, mothers, old women, young guys among others are seen battling just to get their share of the food.

This is quite unfortunate as the manner in which the food is being distributed will cause a spike in the number of coronavirus cases since that is a perfect medium for the virus to spread.
