High life singer KiDi has revealed that he can’t endorse any political party in Ghana.
Speaking with Amansan Krakye on Radio Central, the “Enjoyment” singer stated that he can only perform at political rallies when other artistes are billed to perform.
“I can’t come out to say I will do song for NPP or NDC. I’m an artiste so if there is a show, a general artistes show like they are doing a rally so if I should perform I will do it. But for me to do a song that I’m supporting NDC or NPP I can’t do that. I can only perform at a show as an artiste”, he divulged.
Many Ghanaian musicians have endorsed political parties and have done campaign songs for them but many regretted afterwards so KiDi is not ready to venture into that.
