Ghanaian rapper, Medikal is now considered one of the richest musicians in the country, but he reveals that life wasn’t all rosy.
According to Medikal, who is married to Fella Makafui, life was hard for him because he couldn’t afford gari and sugar. He revealed that he was selling phones in the circle and sleeping under the popular Kaneshie Bridge just to survive.

“Life wasn’t easy for me growing up, sometimes I slept on an empty stomach because I couldn’t afford “Gari and sugar,” he said in an interview with Kwaku Manu.
“Things were so hard that I came to circle to start selling phones and because I couldn’t afford to rent a house, I slept under the Kaneshie Bridge for three weeks,” the ‘Omo Ada’ crooner added.
